Information
I have been told that this is a really tough quest from my testers, but I have managed to make it finishable. Anyway, this is my very first quest. It took me about 3 months to make. There are 3 overworlds and many dungeons. It took me about 9 hours from start to finish to play it, so I'd expect it to take longer for a player that doesn't know where anything is.
Update: Some bugs fixed, some minor, one major. Should not affect your game. I hope not anyway...

Just replayed this, after having played it years ago when it was released. Pretty fun quest with a decent soundtrack. Combat is fun; the earlier levels (2-3) are a bit tougher than the mid-game levels (4-6) since you should have the blue ring by level 4.
I would say that the quest has not aged well; in particular, there are quite a number of secrets (burning bushes in the overworld, bombing caves in the overworld, blowing the flute in unmarked rooms in some dungeons) that are likely to not be intuitive to figure out.
I only made it through level 6 on my most recent playthrough. The newest version of ZC doesn't allow reflected wand shots to be triggered for this quest, so reaching level 7 is impossible.
The endgame is a bit of a surprise; I remember enjoying it a lot when I first played the quest.
To anyone who gets stuck, there's a video walkthrough by the author here; he's entertaining too:

I remember watching your Let's Play of this quest. I do appreciate the detail you put in and your anti-sequence breaking style of giving what you need to go to the next dungeon after the boss. The story is just how I like it; short and never overstayed its welcome. In a way however, I feel that while lettering the blocks so you know what to use on them (such as F for fire), it kind of feels a bit tacky. In addition, I notice some of the dungeons late game are a bit underwhelming in terms of enemy difficulty. On a positive note, it's a good thing you didn't resort to spamming Cracktoroks and Death Knights. Overall, a long but rewarding quest.
