I never really imagined this tree growing in a submerged location, which is why I didn't include one in DoR, but I've seen deciduous trees next to eroded riverside, so I guess it's conceivable. These edits look decent.
As for who created it, I took the LttP big tree graphics from the LttP tileset (compiled by Dart Zaidyer and Marcus) and edited them to have what I would consider "more detail." Of course, the added detail is partially a matter of taste.

This is the big ALttP style tree trunk in water, both deep and shallow. Drew the water an animation over the tree myself. For the animated frames, use the following:
