Information
I started making this quest when I first started working with ZC a year and a half ago. I modeled the idea of this quest after A Link to the Past. This quest is a very long quest. It has 9+ full levels (some of them with multiple floors or maps), several mini-dungeons, and a full overworld map (half is the Dark World, half the Light World). It uses many of the newer items used in Zelda Classic and should be played using version 2.10.

I was digging through the catalog recently and came across this gem. It isn't the prettiest NES style quest but it has a lot of fun gaming mechanics going for it if you like the old school stuff. This is a quest that requires much searching via bombing and burning and remembering (or in my case writing down) of clues but I like all those things so thumbs up. I was able to complete without looking at any posted help, although I did get stuck at one point thinking I might quit but then finally found the thing from the clue so be persistent and things will work out.

Some unimaginative item locations with keys dropped in the same room as the door, food located in adjacent room as the grumbling Goirya etc. Besides from that I join in to say that this is a very good classic style quest, no bugs! A bit tricky in the beginning but the later levels was excellent with a good game-flow, I may play it through again sometime.

This is an excellent classic-styled quest. The use of the light world/dark world is well implemented. It's fun, glitch free, and the music fits perfectly. I like that bomb and burn spots on the overworld are not marked.
Any complaints are nit-picky. It's a little easy through the first five levels, although the later levels are challenging and excellent. The in-dungeon puzzles are mostly of the "push obvious block to an obvious spot on the floor" variety. Still, though, I played it through to the end, and had fun doing it, and for that you get five stars.
