These started as rips on Spriters Resource from a Gameboy Advance game called Golden Sun 2, and have been edited to remove the print on the flags and recolored for Zelda Classic.

I use these in DoR but am sure they could fit into other tile sets. In DoR use CSet 4 for the poles and whatever color pleases you for your flags (with a primary color and a darker shade for the shadow). I find that darker colors look better, lighter colors sometimes look off for whatever reason. That said, White with a light gray shadow looks really sharp!

Put the base of the pole on a walkable layer and the top of the pole on an overhead layer. Then layer the flags either over or under the pole on an overhead layer (you will only need to worry about this for the top left corner of the flag, the rest you can put on any overhead layer).

Animate the 4 A.Frames at an A.Speed of 10 for a nice lazy flapping effect. Or put it lower if you want it to be a bit more windy out!
