A side quest by myself, made in the EZGBZ tileset. As Link walks through the Lost Woods and encounters a mysterious new character, he chases her into a portal, bringing him about in a new land, Lydia. Who and why did this new figure need Link? Okay, this will be my first attempt to make a quest with EZGBZ (which means I will try to do my best). I plan to make this quest like a "Hunt down the 8 Triforce pieces and save the girl" type, but with a few twists. No Ganon, no Zelda, also, I will try to include a GB atmosphere. Note that this is a side project, not the main, my main is Hylian Tale "Reawakened" . I consider this a "practice quest", so yeah, let's see how this will turn out.
A few scripts I'll include are:
- Shutter doors
- Pits
- Signpost and (Maybe) NPCs
- Skippable Cutscenes!
Note that the last two scripts will be executed with the "L button", what does this mean? In this quest, the "L button" will be used to execute various actions, that is why I'll refer to it as the "Action button", since you'll be able to talk to NPCs, read signposts, Skip Cutscenes, and (if I can get a functional script), open chests. However, there is a catch with skipping cutscenes. You have 2 seconds to skip a cutscene before the message displays. This is a workaround due to a quest rule that I need to have enabled for a script to work. You'll notice when you can skip them by seeing that the message delays to display. So yeah, pretty much it. I'll keep fiddling around with the descriptions everytime I need to add something else.
