While a lot of the screens are indeed somewhat plain, I had fun playing through this, and that's my main criteria. It's pretty short and easy. I beat it in about 3 1/2 hours with single digit deaths. There are some good ideas here. If there was a way to rate 3.5 I would, but I'll round up to 4.

It is a good quest, but not great. I completed it in a little over 3 hours. The overworld in many parts is on the bland side, and many of the dungeon rooms are as well. Gameplay is good, and I only got confused a few times. I didn't detect any bugs. Maybe there were a few design flaws, but almost all quests have them. The best parts of the quest are in the middle, for if the entire quest effort was as good as this part, I would give it four stars. The beginning was not that interesting to me, and the end felt to me like it was rushed (a big open desert with no monsters and nearby screens that are a bit out of place with it, and too many open rooms in Level 9). Nonetheless, you did bring forth many neat features to the quest. So overall, it was a good quest.
