Description
Well, here they are, the infamous LTTP height transitions. These will allow LTTP Simple Mountains to behave in a manner other than pancakes under certain circumstances. They are similar to the "slopes" that appeared in the original LTTP, except these are specifically designed to transition from one height to another without necessarily ending the ridge.

Be warned: these tiles are very easy to misuse. Do NOT use them as a quick fix when you've painted your mountain ridge into a corner. They are best used in moderation, and will in fact complicate your screens rather than simplify them in most cases.

Rather than treating them as a way to "change the height" of a cliff, treat them as though the terrain is rising to meet the ridge. Their best use is for "switchback" mountain trails, as seen in the preview shot, where your player character must zig-zag up the mountain rather than alternate between climbing ladders and skirting outer ledges.

UPDATE NOTES:

This submission was updated to separate the height transitions from the LTTP Simple Mountains themselves. This is because many people disagree about height transitions, and they are best separated from the main package. In any case, these tiles are complex to use, and don't really fit in with the label of "simple mountains."

For those of you who are confident you can actually use these to good effect, enjoy. For those who think all height transitions are unnatural, well... fire at will.
