Using 2.55.8.

 

Is there a property in the Item Editor that allows you to have the Short Bow shoot arrows only halfway across the screen and the Long Bow shoot arrows all the way across? I'm able to configure the Wooden Arrow to shoot halfway across and the Silver shoot all the way across, but is there way to tie the range to the Bows themselves rather than the arrows?

no, the only thing a bow does is affect the speed the arrows move
