The time has come, everyone, to vote on your favourites!
If you've yet to play all of the wonderful entries then I urge you to check them out in the other threads within this forum. There's plenty of good quests, and a very large turn out this year. The polls will remain open till the 24th (or for a little while further if the judges are yet to finish their playing), after that we'll revealed the winners.
Regardless I'd like to extend my thanks to everyone who entered as well as everyone who have been playing and taking parts in voice calls surrounding this event. Big props to you all!

Voting is always tough for me. Everyone definitely tried their best.
I had lots of fun playing through the entries. Some more than others of course but mainly because of the size of the content or the overall quality presented. I want to see every single one of these demos and mostly completed quests expanded upon for sure, and I'll playtest each and every one if I have to.VCs were fun, and finding silly solutions to puzzles or unexpected bugs was a good time as well. This may be my first contest participation, but from what im seeing, it most definitely wont be my last.

I can see my entry winning best use of contest time for its sheer length, but I don't think Mani's is all that far behind given how she made a fully playable quest with custom tiles and had a pretty good handle on scope.
For most needed for expansion, this one's a tough pick. A lot of these demos were really good and i want to see expansions for, but Sideview Sunday stuck out as the one that most left me wanting more relative to its length. It has both a solid base and a lot of potential to grow. Close second is Deedee's, because while it's more fleshed out as a standalone thing, in what would world I not want more of that?
Then for my personal favorite, it's not even close. Deedee wins. The fetish quest has really fun movement, tight level design, and a crazy ambitious boss for ZC. Actually just meeting all of my standards. Bravo!

I'm really surprised by all the positive reception to my entry; I assumed the fetish quest would either get a lot of weird side-eyes (assuming people even went to play it), or that even if they were okay with it that there wouldn't be enough there for people to like it. This is kind of a confidence boost, I really want to make a full blown scale quest with this story and mechanics and the level of polish now.

So after giving it a bit of thought, I think my rank list looks something like this...
1. Hookshot 0
2. Deedee's Smol Quest
3. Witches' Curse
---
4. Evening Star
---
5. Sideview Sunday
6. Dark World's Return
7. Super Zelda Adventure
There's a definite top 3 for me. These entries all made really good use of contest time and did really cool things. Moosh wins out overall because Hookshot 0 basically feels like a finished quest, whereas Deedee's fells like a really neat demonstration of concept and Mani's, while playable from start to finish, has some clear spots where time constraints became an issue. Evening Star takes 4th for me because it was very fun and well designed, but all just a small demo of a single dungeon. The bottom three either weren't long enough to leave too much of an impression or had issues that made them not as fun to play.
I think there' near unanimous agreement that Hookshot 0 takes the cake for best use of time. My playthrough there was almost 5 hours, compared to 90 minutes for the next runner up. Legitimately shocked by how much content Moosh crammed in.
For most needing of an expansion, I could make an argument for almost any of them. Deedee got my vote, because I really liked everything I saw and want to see more of it. Sideview Sunday is also a contender here, since the graphical style and concept both hold a lot of promise. I'd like to see a finished version of Mani's, but it's good enough as is now that I doesn't quite take first here. And Dark World's Return is also up there since there's clearly over half a quest built right now, waiting to become fully realized. Evening Star was really fun, and I'd like more of that. I could even make an argument for Hookshot 0 here since I'd love another phase of the final boss.
