)-( I recently came across a truly magnificent soundfont made for Doom/Doom II music called DEVOURFONT. Of course, knowing that there is nothing stopping me from using it Zelda Classic as well, I did just that. Here are some YouTube videos showing just how great it really is: )-(

)-( You can find the link to this epic soundfont right here: )-(

Sounds pretty cool. I also don't think I realized VirtualMIDISynth still worked. Thought it had broken in Windows 10. Most newer quests have switched to enhanced music, but I can always appreciate some nice midis.

I've never worked with soundfonts before. Are you able to "bake" a specific soundfont into a MIDI? I always assumed you would have to change your own computer's MIDI playback soundfont to change it, which I'm sure isn't super hard but would be annoying if you wanted other people to hear your music a specific way.

)-( VirtualMIDISynth can convert MIDI files into WAV, MP3, and FLAC files while using any soundfont that you want it to. )-(
