Zeron: Wow great screen very very cool screen , i like that moon.

Twilight Knight: Fire fire fire intensive screen but looks very playable still, vote goes here.

Torn. Zeron's has the moon in it, but Moon has moon in her name, so really tough choice

I'm biased but I definitely loved watching how Moon developed this area, it has this secret garden feel to it that I haven't felt prior in a ZC forest. Though, I want to shout out that Twilight Knight's has a really cool setpiece as well.

Zeron - Love this shot. Of all your mountaintop landscapes, this is probably my favorite. The moon is great,

but to me it's the desert river valley and how it fades into the mountains in the back that really do it for me.

What an awesome landscape. Not sure how much is custom, but everything flows and fits, so excellent

work here!

 

Twilight Knight - As I mentioned with last week's shot, a lot can go into the layout of a screen, and

space and enemy placement are huge factors whether the quest experience is enjoyable or not.

This scene looks a ton of fun to play. The narrow bridge, the lava, the stalfos. Are they Level 3

stalfos and is that their fireballs they are shooting out? If so, this would make for a bit of a 

thrilling battle. Voted here (Had to with all the praise I gave last week too!)

 

Moon - This shot is awesome. It is a smidge hard to make out since it is dark, but I'm sure in gameplay

it creates that certain creepy mood, though Shane's "Secret Garden" comment gives me

a different perspective on the shot altogether. I absolutely love layered shots (as in there are

multiple paths and opportunities). The cave entrance, the side path etc. Also love the little

details such as the small patches of ivy coming down from the mountains. Speaking of

mountains, I feel like it's quite difficult to achieve varying heights on one screen while

maintaining perspective. I've examined the mountains here for a little bit and gotta say, everything looks

natural and I don't have to adjust my eyes to try and decipher the perspective, so this

to me is also quite an achievement in and of itself. Would've voted here had I not

gone with Twilight Knight's shot.

 

Wow! Awesome week guys. No clear 1, 2, 3 for me,  but rather a 1A, 1B, and 1C ranking.

Really really enjoyed this. Keep at it, your work is inspiring! Seeing all of these makes me 

want to make a quest for myself one day!

Thank you! I quite like how it turned out as well. DoR didn't originally have backgrounds, so it's cool seeing what can be done with them.

 

 

Not sure how much is custom, but...

Only the stars, and those are a quick repurpose of heat container sparkles (I'll have to add proper stars later). The background is from the Minish Cap, and the moon is from Final Fantasy 6. P-Tux7 has been sourcing graphics, and I've been adding them to a work-in-progress tileset expansion. That's why I keep showing off new tiles.
