Hi hi folks I'm back with a big update to my MAP!

Since last I've just focused on the entire east of the map and making it as reasonably accurate as i can/want while still retaining my town idea and recognizability.

Most of this is still the classic tiles but I've started to use Cambria 2.55 more especially in the Eastern Temple.

I entirely revamped the east and make it more accurate to a link to the past and echoes of wisdom whole laying out areas for decorative tiles while making the new town concept two pages bigger for sake of exploration.

I added the encampment to the north and then started to round out the cliffs and borders while slightly tweaking there sizes.

After I felt the cliffs were round enough I realized I needed to add trees where the large boulder was and I wanted to tweak the north river a bit.

And here it is along side the nothing burger of a castle town which is my next goal after adding the town sprites.

Also here's a better look at the temple and it's progress.

My workflow of how I made the custom 2x2 statues, nothing to special just wanted it to line up with the dungeon entrance tiles.

My first layout and an attempt at a custom floor tile but I didn't really like it so switched to Cambria ones.

And here it is! The Eastern Temple in all her glory. The colours are subject to change but the tiles and layout are settles for the most part and I still need to make custom 1x2 statues. 

Here it all is together with Death Mountain.

I hope I didn't keep anyone waiting but hey for the wait here's a bonus!

I thought it would be fun to make a silly me but Z1 NPC and I gave her an old alt along with a red/blue tunic alt with the blue tunic not being blue like links. I'd be some wandering fanatic just raving about the sages and goddesses while z1 link is so confused about it all.

Well well nice big update good job.

i like the Eastern temple work and it will be great, btw one thing what about enemies? but maybe this is to early to ask.

This is really cool! I really like the spritework, good job!

Have you considered making a quest project page for this? Might be a good place to keep all the updates in one place (so you don't have to keep linking back to previous topics, people can just check the project page).

Thank you! 16bit is a fun limitation to work with, I hope at some point I can make a tileset of everything i end up making so everyone can use them in there projects.

Also yeah I tried making one after my first update but I had to wait till I got to the 10 post minimum but for my next update I'll for sure make it a quest project!

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you like it and the enemies will come once I've gotten the base terrain finished. I want to have a few hot zones of enemies like the encampment and castle town while some areas are more open and for the player to explore and find secrets.
