I don't want to buy the cheapest $6 one on amazon, but I also don't really know what I need exactly. Basically, I have old consoles I want to connect to a newer TV. Think NES-Wii basically, all the ones that have RCA-outs. Ideally, it won't try to stretch or upscale the image, just directly convert it to a usable signal that can be plugged into an HDMI-in on the back of a modern TV, keeping the original aspect ratio.

Something like this, or this basically, but not the cheapest one out there. Does anyone here have any experience with these? I'm also not necessarily looking for a capture card, as I know those exist, but hey, if there's one that's fairly cheap and does both I might consider it.

Thanks!
