Hi, i'm a long time lurker, first time poster.

I've played a lot of zelda classic like 15-20 years ago,and I setup ZC on my Retroid Pocket 5 via Winlator, and it plays flawlesly.

I remember a quest that I absolutely loved, but I can't seem so find it on pureZC.net or zeldaclassic.com.

As my last hope of finding the quest I'm looking for, I decided to post here. So here's what I remember:

 

The quest I am looking for looks a lot like Hidden Duality, but when playing it, I'm not quite sure it is.
I remember it to have the same graphics, and you can go behind trees.

There was many pieces of hearts hidden in the overworld, especially with secret paths by walking "Behind trees".

I can't seem to find this in Hidden duality.

 

I'm pretty sure there wasn't a second overworld like Duality, but there was a hidden 9th or 10th dungeon that was difficult, and if I remember correctly, it was using a gray/silver pallet.

I was looking at End Of Time DX, but it doesn't quite ring the bell I was looking for.

It's a classic quest, with all items (hookshot, hammer, etc.)

 

Anyway, if anyone has any idea, send me some links!

Going off your description it's hard to come up with any quest in particular because it's all so broad. A couple things to consider though. If it has the exact same graphics as Hidden Duality, that sounds like the Revenge 2 tileset which would likely place it very old on the ZC timeline. It wouldn't be anything made in version 1.90 though, as that version did not have layers to hide items behind yet. If you're less certain about the tileset, that  narrows things down considerably less.

 

End of Time DX is on the more recent end of older quests. I was around when it released, just barely. That one uses the Pure Tileset Upgrade Extreme (PTUX) tileset. It's quite a big tileset but that means there's a bunch more situational tiles in it so maybe paging through it in the editor you might find something to jog some more memories.

 

A DarkFlameWolf quest would make sense for both being fairly difficult and having a bonus dungeon. Many of hers featured a Master Dome level as an optional bonus challenge, though I can't think of any with a silver palette.
