hey. welcome to Screen Rebirth. sit and relax for a while - let the waves of peace and tranquility wash over you. we have three wonderful entrants today. they've given it their all to contribute to the serenity of the moment. like a gentle, refreshing spring breeze, screen rebirth moves ever onward...

This was a fairly difficult base screen to adapt in my opinion as narrow paths are harder to convey while taking creative liberties. It's cool to see how everybody approached it.

Gennyvere217: This one is the most straightforward adaptation of the bunch. I don't know Koten that well to tell if the palette is custom or not, but the choice of colors are pretty nice. I like how you interpreted the torch at the end of the path as being the candle item.

Twilight Knight: This is my favorite of the bunch. I like the way you reinterpreted the spiral into a block puzzle that appears to make use of both the top and bottom entrances of the room and requires the lock to solve it. I also recognize this dungeon and I'm excited to see how you've fleshed it out in the remake because the original form sure did not play like this.

Kifstopher: I can tell you have a fondness for snowy environments and I approve of this like. At first it seemed like the water itself was casting light but would seem on closer inspection it's just Henry having a rather large light radius. There's a good number of points of interest here and I definitely feel that waterfall cave in particular calling to me. There's a bit of harsh cutoff where the lamp posts and trees meet the water, but it took me longer than usual to notice so it's probably no big deal.
