With "zelda.nsf" in the same folder as the quest I'm playing, the Triforce fanfare from the NSF seems to keep running for much longer (without noise, just measure length) than in Version 2.53 or previous versions. I have to wait a half eternity from the Triforce pickup until I get sent back to the overworld. If I take "zelda.nsf" off, the MIDI will play and it goes as quick as it did in all previous versions. That's a shame, because I feel the NSF version is superior to the MIDI version, it also adds more to the true original feeling of playing NES Zelda (and NES-lookalike quests).

While I find transgurls just as cute and awesome as born gurls, I hope a developurr could look into this and purrhaps have a look into the Zelda.NSF file if the Triforce Fanfare is now longer than before. ^^

Unsure if this is related, but does the behavior change depending on whether you're recording a replay or not? I recall some things in replay mode use fixed durations instead of waiting on a sound effect. Sound playback isn't tied to the frame count so that was necessary to prevent desyncs in most quests.

I will check that and get back to you, thanks for the input.

Edit: It changed nothing, the delay after the fanfare is still there (almost 10 seconds), so I took Zelda.nsf back out again and use the default Midi for the Triforce Fanfare instead.
