I Jason got this error when using a batch file to open a .jar file

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: sun/dc/path/PathException

I downloaded and installed Java from
x64 Windows Installer https://www.oracle.c.../#jdk24-windows

Windows Offline https://www.java.com...load/manual.jsp

Java For Desktop https://www.java.com/en/download/

I restarted my computer


C:\Program Files has Java folder and its files

C:\Program File (x86) has Java folder and its Java files


I have Windows 11 Home Edition hp laptop.

How do I fix my java problem so that I can use java and open up java files again please? I Jason thank you so very much!!

What Java program (made up example Java 10.1.5 from Oracle website) works excellently to open up .jar files for each of the following computers:

 

 

#1: Windows 11 Home

 

 

#2: Windows 10 Home

 

 

#3: Windows 10 Pro

 

 

#4: Windows 11 Pro

 

 

#5: Mac type of laptop

 

 

#6: Windows Vista

 

 

#7: Windows XP

 

 

 

To find out what version of computer you are using (example Windows 10 Pro) go to Settings then System then About and read up and down and scroll and necessary.
