I know this is kinda late but ive made some screens for it but im having second thoughts about entering. im very new to zquest and I want to make something for other people but when i started this project it just felt sloppy and ugly. should i restart? should i quit? or should i make something not for the challenge? im unsure so im looking for tips.

Contests like these are a perfect excuse to make a quest, whether you think it's sloppy or not. You need to flex your creative muscles in order to get better and build your skills, so even if you think it's bad, do it! Within creative restraints like this, it might even encourage new ideas.

Worst case scenario, it turns out bad.
But at least you made something and grow off of it.

You might wind out surprising yourself too.

I tend to make whatever I feel like personally, and if it turns out good, that’s an added bonus.

Like others have said, contests are a really fun opportunity to jump into a project with some constraints. Make the most of it! Especially since you have like almost a month to make something. Good luck!!!
