Was wondering if the 3rd quest is passworded (I assume it is). Really was enjoying it until level 8-9. Seems there's way too many fireball statues especially in 9 and it sucks the fun out of it.
Hoping to change most of these statues into blocks =)

If it's passworded (I honestly can't remember if it is or not), if you open it in 2.55, you can use the master password "amongus" to open and edit it. Just be careful - changing anything in the header will likely break things. The nth quests are... a bit silly with the way they interface with the program. Or were, at least, at one point.

If you're on 2.53 and don't wanna have to redo any save progress, just use the password T1m3l0rd instead.

Thank you for the info.
I was able to open it with 3.0.0 development version which does not require a password ![]()
I had heard of the timelord method and tried it but apparently they changed it and updated v2.5.3, if you go to the about tab mine says "release 2 omnius" build 33 and it has been changed. So now going to look for earlier version of 2.5.3 which apparently is the same thing as 2.5.0.3, surely I will probably find it eventually.
I was looking for the zCheat program but it has disappeared off the net completely, but if someone on this forum has it and would message it to me that would be awesome.
A simple cheat to disable all fireball statues would probably be the best thing though and I would not have to edit anything

Tried 2.5.5.8 the quest did open with the master pw and able to edit it, I like that you can maximize the window, but the music is changed, and I prefer the 2.53 music

I got into it using 2.5.3.1, unfortunately even with edits, it's still not fun.
Would be better if 3rd quest ended on lvl 7. Because levels 8 and 9 are just not fun.
Seems to encourage bombing and door camping

Yeah, 3rd quest definitely comes from a different era with different standards for what was fun combat. It's a bit of a shame, but... it's a decent history lesson, but not necessarily a great game.
