I heard about a Portland Oregon man named Timothy Chapek called 911 because he was an intruder showering and the homeowner came home with her dogs. Timothy Chapek thought the homeowner had guns but she did not. Timothy Chapek got arrested and charged with some crimes.

i pocket dialed 911 once, i told them i didn't mean to call them and they were pretty understanding. but it also made me concerned that if i was being held hostage and telling them i'm okay under duress then they would just let me continue being kidnapped
