Maybe I have the wrong cave at the top of the waterfall . . .the cave is on the screen above the waterfall.

Oh, lol. Sorry didnt know what you were referencing to. That is just a visual cave, the water flows from there and is not an actual cave

I thought it was a really cool puzzle where you had to connect that the cave was indeed on top of that waterfall because those two screens are not directly connected (you need to walk quite a ways around to get from one screen to the other); then there would be a trigger that would stop the waterfall (like shooting magic at something since you get the hint in Level 7); and then you could walk up the mountain to get into the cave. Maybe on your next quest . . . Thanks for all your help responding to my questions. Great quest that gets 5 stars from me. Well done!!

Interesting, But there is an impossible torch puzzle in lvl 4. I tried everywhere, moving 1 frame at a time, does this have to be on a specific pixel, because no matter where I go I can only light 2 of them. I assume this is for the boss key

You can move the Torches by pushing them around.  Once you get them all close, you use the Candle.

Hint as to the area where I should look for Level 6?  I've found (and beaten) 1-5, found 7 and 8 (and 9), but haven't found 6.

Yeah I found it and have absolutely no idea how I didn't see that somehow.  I should wrap this up this week.  It's very good!

Yeah I found it and have absolutely no idea how I didn't see that somehow.  I should wrap this up this week.  It's very good!

 

I could use a hint as to what you found.... I have no idea what he means by "the swamp area."

The massive update (titled V2 + 2nd Quest) has finally hit the database! 
Includes massive updates/changes/reworks to the quest, as well as including the long-awaited 2nd Quest!! Also has difficulty options for both quests.

I must be missing something somewhere and could use some assistance with the mechanic in level 8.  I have only 1 room that I know a key is in, but I cannot get through it.  It is in the room where a block that looks like it should be emitting light is moving around the room and there are a 2 mirrors that can be rotated and pushed, but I cannot get the block to emit light and therefore cannot get the "sun" switch to hit.

I'm also gonna posting an update soon with some bugfixes to lots of 2nd Quest dungeons! There's currently as of posting this a game-ending bug, but the cheat is there to get past it when it happens!

Thanks Runa,  I know I can reflect the light, but for some reason, the moving block is not emitting any light for me to reflect.  I'd rather not use the cheat to give myself the key, but I am not sure what to do otherwise.

I checked it myself, it emits light for me??
I have no clue whats going on

I know the feeling.  I tried everything I could think of as the other room with the mirror like it seems to work just fine.  I also tried updating my player to the most updated nightly version and it still would not work.  I went ahead and used the cheat to give myself the missing key, but now it shows a cheat on the file that I wish was not there.  That was a descent boss battle for the dungeon....now onto level 9 and soon any postgame items.
