I think Architect Abdiel's choices for palette and trees are weird. I would probably go with something a bit more conventional with the trees and blue for the water. If you were intending something unique I'd say keep experimenting. This screen excels at a cool focal point. I love how the Tree of Life is framed.

 

I voted for Joelmacool. His classic dungeons always ooze atmosphere and this one is no exception. The volcanic Tower of Hera look is really fitting. The layout is lovely and the eyeball creature is most intriguing.

 

Twilight Knight's shot has great colours. I feel the straight hallway is a little boring for the contest but I think it works for what it is. I'm digging the waterfalls; they make the shot.

Architect Abdiel: I love the framing of this screen with the arch and the stairs. To my eyes, it seems like there's something not quite right about the height perspective on the stairs, but overall it works pretty well. I voted here.

 

Joelmacool: The framing of this screen is great, and serves a pretty clear gameplay purpose. Do you shoot the eyeball with a bow? Man, I want to shoot that eyeball with a bow...

 

Twilight Knight: One thing I've noticed about your shots is they often give the impression of the environments being "lived in." You're great at building character with objects and detailing, like the statues here. I agree with Shane that the layout of the screen isn't the most interesting, though.

Also, I’ll look at other palettes. I just used one of the example palettes.
