Had some fun, playing around with Zoria's game_over_menus.zh, during the last weeks.
I decided to use a modified version for A Fairytale Princess, too.
(like I also made for my other current projects, Memories of the Future and Little Hero)
...but for AFP, I wanted to create a unique look for the Game Over screen.
On Death, the Game Over screen only offers the option to "RETRY", "CONTINUE" or "OUIT"
AFP will use a save system based on Games like TERRANIGMA.
Saving will only be possible via dialogue branches at specific save points
(diaries in hotel roomes, mystical owl staues like in MM, etc.).
I wanted to add a lil' "survival flair" by these modifications.
I use Moosh's Dialogue Branch Add On, calling a simple save/save quit ffc script, for the save points.
