Okay, so I really love this. If there's one thing I love in palettes, it's bright colors. And the nice solid colors are not only excellent shades, but all the more striking on their own. It produces a pretty interesting nes-type look, but the design and some other elements still make it feel like you're doing something quite different. I especially like the water area in the lower left. Simple, but something about it really appeals to me.

it looks great. in fact i love the colors, as aevin said, its really different yet comfy at the same time. but...
Is this an Overworld, or a dungeon? i cant tell.

Not very sure how I feel about mixing GB and Koten like that, since it does make things look a little weird IMO. But I do like what you have here so far. The green area over to the right side is probably my favourite part of the map. I really do like the idea of mixing overworld and dungeon together like this too, so nice job overall.

And yeah, I was worried about how smashing Koten and GB together would look like -- i've editted the colors a little bit in order to try and alleviate that, but there's only so much I can do.

For me, if you separate the areas, it looks a bit too monochrome. Although, I like the map Keep it up!

dunno if i should make a new update for every day's progress or not
this is the 2nd floor of the middle bit, did it today. gonna work on it more tomorrow probably
