It's that time of the year. Spooky costumes, lots of candy, and nasty tricks. Only the last one of those is relevant here.

Introducing, the Halloween Beta for the BS Expansion. Now returning are the Minus Dungeons. Do bad memories make you scared? No worry, they should be a lot more fun to explore now.

New to the lineup, a Face, Turtle Rock, and an Egg? What does it mean? And what is this about a chain chomp?

But the stars of this spooky show are the extra modes. Nobody noticed the secret in Randomizer Returns, even though you had a 1 in 12 chance of the quest telling you exactly what to do. Well, if you were to imagine the Map Button acting as a Select Button and if I had an Extra Mode like the original Kirby's Dream Land... you can figure out the rest from here. But now, there are more extra modes.

Get Swindled when shopkeepers hide their wares!

Question your sanity when the Dungeons play hide and seek!

And be surprised when a much hated feature of the first two randomizers returns to be far more... world shattering?

Will you brave the new content? Or will this just get ignored and have virtual dust pile up on it?

In the meanwhile, the BS Expansion is now up to 5 dungeon sets. At this point, I think I'll take a break from adding new dungeons to focus on other features for a bit. I've already started on having some text vary from situation, but I still need to add support for randomized text and situation-based door repairs. Randomized level 9 requirement should be not too far behind.

Given an idea for an upcoming extra mode, I will have to add support for up to 256 different caves. This means I could add more types of caves into the mix for world generation, allowing more variety from seed to seed. The only thing to note is these caves will be randomly shuffled into the world randomizer, meaning they might not appear (or because many of them appear, some shops or rupee secrets may be less common). Any suggestions for these cave types and a possible cap of how many can appear will be considered.

Always great to see more updates to this.  ^_^  I wish I had a suggestion for the caves, but you covered most of the things I would think of for caves for something like this in the Legend of Pokemon Warrior.
