Feedback would be appreciated, such as item improvements, specific enemies that are far more dangerous than others they are grouped with, possible locations that need additional shortcuts, or a name you can give at the start of the quest that gets a silly response.
And don't hesitate to use the thread for sharing... interesting things you may find.

For some reason the beta is still in pending status. I guess I uploaded it at a slow time or something? I don't think it normally has taken this long to get approved. I'll keep checking back, it should be available soon.
And we are good, download in now a go!

So far found two golden chests, one in the graveyard, one a few worlds beforehand. Their items aren't counted in the total shown by the checklist, but I have no idea how to open these chests. Make that three; just found the one in the very first world.
Edit: Should've figured; once you find the way to open those chests, it's rather obvious...hehe.

I have found a possible glitch: One of the key words has frozen Zelda Classic for me. Music is still playing, but display has completely frozen, and no input going through. #DESSYREQT is the one that did it. Tested with a name of "TEST" and a favorite thing of "AAA" (Just to test.

I have completed the game, but I have not 100% completed it, yet. I definitely have confirmation that there are more than 320 items, though.
On a side note, I -love- the final boss...hehe.

For those who have not yet noticed, Beta 4 has been released. This fixes the bug with one of the secret modes, and 2 bosses have been added.
Since it has been awhile, here is some general info for those that may want it.
The portal in the starting cave takes you to a special place. You want to check that right away, a very useful item for 100% item collection is there.
The quest is divided into a series of worlds. If these worlds are following the Mario style of being parts of a larger world or are actually different themed planets is up for debate. Either way, you go from world to world using the sealed portals.
Each new world requires at least 2 new items to fully explore. One item is needed just to break the seal to the portal in the previous world, and the other item is used often in the new world, sometimes being required for the boss key.
Each world has a side dungeon. These side dungeons are more complex than the worlds they are in and will require items you may not find until later. For example, you may need fully explore World 2 to have the items to complete the side dungeon in World 1. Some later side dungeons may require you to go even further ahead in worlds. However, every side dungeon also has an item near the start that can be obtained with just the items you needed for the current world. This "early item" location may be worth checking when you find a new dungeon.
Some worlds also have a deeper dungeon. These deeper dungeons are hidden in the side dungeon of the world, and require even later items. Without spoiling where the first deeper dungeon is, the items needed for it can appear as late as World 7. Deeper dungeons do not have an early item; with the required items, you can do the entire place in one go.
Regardless if you randomize item locations or not, there is a logic to where the key items can appear. At first, they can only appear up to the seal to the world they are required for (meaning, the item to break a seal may appear in the same world the seal is in, but never beyond it), including the early item locations in side dungeons.
Starting with the items needed for World 5, you may need to backtrack to an earlier side dungeon to find a key item. The general rule is, a key item can appear later in a side dungeon if said key item is needed for a later world then the items needed to fully explore the side dungeon. For example, the items needed for World 5 are also the items required for side dungeon 2, so an item for World 6 may appear in side dungeon 2.
This logic also applies to the deeper dungeons, although since the first one requires items needed for World 8, you will not need to check them for some time. But if luck is on your side, you can always obtain the items for a dungeon much earlier than expected. And if you are really lucky, you may not need to go into any dungeons at all.
What, backtracking takes too long? Find the whistle before World 5. It will help a lot.
Can't seem to find all the items in a world? Not everything is in plain sight. Check behind trees, cut grass and bushes, bomb and burn suspicious objects. And for the most part, you can find these hidden items without using a lens if you look for anything that looks odd. And sometimes, an item is hidden this way in a cave.
The various hints in the worlds will point to the bigger secrets. Or just a 10 rupee secret and nothing else.
Speaking of the lens, it mainly helps with identifying fake walls in a few dungeons. And that is all. It will not reveal anything else you couldn't figure out by looking. Especially not some obscure secret.

Says it should be. My question is: Would the new bosses require a fresh start? (My suspicion is yes.)

I finished the latest demo a few days ago, so I'll post some random notes I took during my playthrough.
Some of these might be intended, I don't know. I can explain any of them in more detail if you want.

Has anyone had any luck with the secret at the top of Lavender Shrine? The block that appears that is marked with a '7'?
