I've recently been more motivated to work on another project than finish this one up at the moment, so I'm spending most of my free time on that. This certainly isn't canceled, but expect a bit of a delay until it's ready for release.

This certainly isn't canceled.
It certainly wouldn't be a good idea to cancel it if you have 98% done already. Eager to hear news about this project, it looks fascinating!

Honestly, if this were my project, I would have just finished it before you start the other project. Of course, by all means do what you want, but it's 98% done anyway, so personally I'd just try to get done.
