With the finishing bug testing touches being completed, this is nearly ready. As you may have noticed in the maps of the second quest, I added a different color block to show push-able blocks in the Koten version. I need to remove this, cause it is not authentic. I dunno why I did it anyway lol, just made more work for myself. I need to play through the games entirely, legit, but I'm very confident in the current state of the quests, as being complete, and am confident in releasing them. I am currently making the documentation, and editing the submission page, and you can expect a release (for real) in the next day or three.

I know pretty much every update has said "Hey, I'm done, but wait", but this time, I really mean it.. Seriously, lol.

I need to check for a few other things that I may have changed, that need changing back to being authentic. I thought there was a bug in the second example quest, cause it uses the same whistle warp locations as the first quest, but I guess this is cannon, for example. I need to make sure the overworld is 100% good to go as well, but the dungeons are all done. I am pretty proud of myself. I basically made 4 quests in a month :P Granted, I had it all outlined, and designed for me nearly 30 years ago.

i love the first game, but there are some design issues I have with it, and it irks me that I'm choosing not to change some of them. But, I want this to be as close to the source material as possible. Anyone is free to make any changes they want to the package.

Hey man, you've finished the hard part. Take your time and polish your quest as much as you want: the extra attention to detail is what brings a game from just "good" to "special." :)

Honestly, it's good to hear that. I feel like I might be rushing in some ways. I'm just really excited to be almost done. It's just the play testing is such a slog. Lol. I've never been this far on a project, and never really realized how much time goes into testing a quest. It is uniquely satisfying to find an issue, and fix it though. Part of why I decided to do this was cause I thought it might be a good representation of what really goes into a quests' development cycle. I do want the end result to be as good as it can. There really is no rush, and I need to remember that sometimes lol.

Right and right again.

Keep in mind, most people are probably in the middle of playing other quests, and even if you post this as quickly as possible, they'll probably still take a few weeks to get around to it anyway.

Granted, I had to rush my last one out a wee bit prematurely, but that was due to largely-changing family and living situations, or else I would've made a few more tweaks and waited on a final script. But if you have no reason for a rush, then just don't :P

BTW, looking forward to playing the Koten versions.
