(Apologies for those who read this post before the major edit. I was stressed during writing this update, so a lot of information was exaggerated and I thought things through a little more.)

Lost Historia and Sword of Ruin are between being shelved and being very very slowly worked on. The future is demanding and unfortunately, (keyword: ambitious) fan games are going to have to come second. These studies I'm doing require me to work on the clock, or else I'm going to be overwhelmed. It doesn't help their due dates are pretty close making this a challenge to tackle. These are the key to opening up many great opportunities in my life, so if I fail, it might be a while before I get a second chance at obtaining these opportunities, if not at all.

Now don't worry, this doesn't mean I am leaving PureZC or anything like that. It's just that I want to shift my focus away from big Zelda Classic titles such as Lost Historia and Sword of Ruin and keep focus on other things in the ZC community such as hosting Screenshot: Challenge Accepted (and the potential Puzzle of the Month), submitting more EZGBZ tiles to the database for the community to use and maybe work on a much (keyword: simpler) ZC project.

I am working on two simpler ZC projects as we speak actually, which will replace Lost Historia and Sword of Ruin for now in terms of spotlight. However, one of these projects isn't a quest... that's all I will say regarding that. My other project is progressing amazingly, even in current conditions. Several maps have been made and I am nearing the development of Level 1 already. This project started on the 3rd of this month so hopefully you can see how fast development currently is.

Regarding announcing these projects... I think I don't intend on making them public any time soon now. It seems I make projects better not only when winging them but behind the scenes too. So the planned announcement on the 20th will be replaced with a teaser trailer on that day. I feel like the biggest mistake with previous quests was announcing them way too soon and getting pressured. If I resume Lost Historia and Sword of Ruin (again, I'll be working on them from time to time) I will do it in secret. It seems that's the way to go from here on out.

I completely respect the decision. Sad to see Lost Historia being slowly worked on yet again, but hey, I'm looking forward to the more simpler projects you have going at the moment.

do other people know what you are thinking and thus convert it into collaboration? uh. but that defeats a purpose of
"I did this"

Don't worry Shane, that is COMPLETELY fine! If you have something important that you need to do, stop development for as long as you need! ZC should never get in the way of your personal life!
