So, a while back I had a few streams where I played a little game (I mean it only sold 3.5 million copies) called Euro Truck Simulator 2. It ended up providing a lot of fun between just learning the controls then trying to make delivery requirements and such. It was a pretty good time!
Lo and behold, this week we've witnessed the release of American Truck Simulator, by the same company. And this got me thinking, man it could be fun to take another shot at one of these games. As much fun as the struggles to play the last one were, it was legitimately a very fun and engaging game that I'd like to see more of.
Now, before I went off and just bought it, I figured I'd check to see if there's some actual interest in seeing me once again take to the road and create a transportation empire to rival FedEx. So, that's what the poll is for, BUT THAT'S NOT ALL.
So, eventually, with games like this, you get good at them and the number of incidents will go down, which might eventually get kind of boring to watch. I mean, I do plan on having someone along for the ride, just so it's not just me talking to myself endlessly. We don't need a live broadcast of my rapidly deteriorating psyche without at LEAST one other accomplice, after all.
My thoughts on how to keep things interesting? User suggestions for challenges I'll take on periodically. Maybe changing the sensitivity of the steering to abysmal levels. Maybe forcing me to not stop for rest on a long route, making me have to balance my speed and path to compensate? I'm not putting specific restrictions in, but I'll keep taking suggestions to keep things interesting. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?
So, your input will be very helpful! Please also let me know if you have any suggestions right off the top of your head, I'll be sure to keep a record of them. Thanks!
