So, a while back I had a few streams where I played a little game (I mean it only sold 3.5 million copies) called Euro Truck Simulator 2. It ended up providing a lot of fun between just learning the controls then trying to make delivery requirements and such. It was a pretty good time!

Lo and behold, this week we've witnessed the release of American Truck Simulator, by the same company. And this got me thinking, man it could be fun to take another shot at one of these games. As much fun as the struggles to play the last one were, it was legitimately a very fun and engaging game that I'd like to see more of.

Now, before I went off and just bought it, I figured I'd check to see if there's some actual interest in seeing me once again take to the road and create a transportation empire to rival FedEx. So, that's what the poll is for, BUT THAT'S NOT ALL.

So, eventually, with games like this, you get good at them and the number of incidents will go down, which might eventually get kind of boring to watch. I mean, I do plan on having someone along for the ride, just so it's not just me talking to myself endlessly. We don't need a live broadcast of my rapidly deteriorating psyche without at LEAST one other accomplice, after all.

My thoughts on how to keep things interesting? User suggestions for challenges I'll take on periodically. Maybe changing the sensitivity of the steering to abysmal levels. Maybe forcing me to not stop for rest on a long route, making me have to balance my speed and path to compensate? I'm not putting specific restrictions in, but I'll keep taking suggestions to keep things interesting. I mean, what's the worst that could happen™?

So, your input will be very helpful! Please also let me know if you have any suggestions right off the top of your head, I'll be sure to keep a record of them. Thanks!

I do recall popping into one of your Euro Truck Simulator streams and it seemed like a pretty neat game to me. Would be interesting to see how America goes :P Challenges also sounds like a cool idea, would definitely make things different when playing. I don't have any suggestions right now and I dunno if I'll be in for the majority of the streams (because timezones suck), but it would be cool to watch after the stream is done or something. So yeah, I voted "yes with no preference".

I'm the type that would happily watch even if not much crashing and stuff occurred. I like seeing the scenery and the weather, and enjoy something about the journey involved in the drives. I'm probably in the minority, but I'd still enjoy it even if there weren't any crazy crashes or other shenanigans.

Minority or not, I'm the same way. No wonder I never got bored on those short-to-medium length car trips~

Welp, I guess any concerns of this not being a viable option are unfounded! I'm going to be gone away 02/12/16 thru 02/20/16 so this probably won't start until after that, and I'm not sure where I'm going to fit it in my weekly schedule at this point, but I do plan on doing some streaming of this. I'll make a more formal announcement of my plans here once I know more. Thanks for the feedback and input!
