Is this week 2? Maybe I can't count. Whatever.

Just finished basic water this morning, here is a link to the full animation frames. There are a lot of redundant copies of tiles in this image. If anyone wants me to compress it to the non-redundant tiles, I'll go ahead and make one:

And a sample of the water in action:

Flowing water, such as waterfalls will be drawn, but will definitely be more complex. Quickly flowing water usually looks white and opaque, and I will have to have some interesting transitions from flowing to standing water.

One thing I want to do with the water seen here is to add some ceiling reflections to allow the designer to convey that there may be something on the ceiling. I'm talking about things like a reflection of a chandelier, or if the dungeon has an open ceiling, the reflection of the sun's rays.

One other thing I need to do is figure out a good way to convey locked doors in an RPG perspective, I'll sketch a few ideas and may take an opinion poll on which ones seem to look/feel the best.

Looking good. For the south locked doors, which would be the most tricky, I'd just put the lock graphic on the ceiling on top of the door, or maybe have it use a different cset?

Thanks. Your idea about the south locked doors incidentally is exactly the avenue I was going to pursue first. The real difficulty is ensuring it looks good. Also, based on the perspective, the graphic is also going to be shared to the east and west doors. I'll probably make it later today on my way home from class.
