Second, I'm looking for scripters to help me make scripts IF I cannot find the script I want script in the database. You don't have to download the .qst file and put the scripts in yourself, I will do that. I just want someone who I can rely on to help make scripts. PM me if you are interested. Thank you!

This is just a friendly note (please don't take this the wrong way), but asking on the forums for someone to be a dedicated scripter probably isn't gonna get any takers. Asking for scripts in the script request forum would probably be your best bet, as that would heighten the possibility of a script getting made (as multiple people would possibly be able to fulfill the request, rather than just 1), especially if you had a dedicated scripter and they got busy with other things (which, a lot of people are, especially since the expo is gonna be happening soon).

If you can't find a script you're looking for, make a thread here: http://www.purezc.ne...p?showforum=181

^ Basically this.
The nice thing about a community around this engine is that there are plenty of people who can pitch in and help. But few would want to sign up for obligations to projects, which is why I think making a thread for every one script you'd require would be better. Also, on that note, there are scripts in the forums that aren't in the database.

Shockingly, you're wrong. I've responded, and accepted a few dedicated scripting positions, exactly like this; with the caveat that I'm exceptionally slow in producing materials; due to working on far too many projects, and a mad work schedule.
The benefit of being a dedicated scripter to a project, is that you needn't figure out what everyone else is doing, and worry about compatibility concerns. For the questmaker, the downside is that we aren't going to work on their projects at the expense of our own (most of the time), so their development process is lengthened.
It is important here, to know a list of expectations, and the types of scripts that a questmaker wants.

But isn't that what you could write in a script request in the Script Request forum? ![]()
