As the title says, I could use a full tileset and sprites pack (including enemies) for 'Parallel Worlds'. Would anyone care to dedicate some time to this? The end result will be rather epic!

I realised how many PW tiles simply do not exist,

You choose the palette; but I need 16-colour tiles. My thanks to any. and all, who can assist in this endeavour.

I... would actually be quite interested in seeing where such a project goes.

For one, I feel one can combine all the unique tiles from Parallel Worlds and add it onto DoR as an expansion pack/DLC

On the other hand, There are enough tiles that Id love to see a complete, original tileset out of the tiles. However, this causes me to wonder if the creator should go above and beyond in the Parallel World tileset by adding bonus content from existing tilesets to ultimately deliver a large, well received package

I am actually interested in designing such a project. You say 16 Color tiles? This means 8-Bit enabled right?

Other than simplicity and dynamic palette shades, I find no use to not use 8-Bit tiles.

8-Bit is 256-colour, although in ZC, would can only realistically use 128-ish of those.

16-Colour is the same as Pure, or DoR. Fifteen colours from the given CSet, and 0 is always transparent, which is often something strange, like pink/mauve. (Although that is common enough in several bitmapping/blitting schemes as a neutral overlay; I'm more used to blue/green screening.)

I would not ask anyone to make a proper 8-bit tileset: I've tried, and it's be come such a mess, that I simply needs to start over, with fully custom graphics; as there's no viable way to import, and then manually recolour graphics from a dozen other games into 8-bit (due to ZC's palette and CSet system) without spending more time than just making them all from scratch.

If you feel that you are up to the task, I would mightily appreciate it. My main desire, is ensuring that all the overworld tiles are identical; and the tiles necessary for a few dungeons, notably the Parallel Tower, plus all the NPCs. Other dungeons would be a bonus for my use, but I will very likely add in custom dungeon tiles, and other enemy tiles for the project. I'd love to make tall enemies to fully mimic Z3, but that is somewhat of a pain, and I won't need them for this project.

I may need the rest of the enemy tiles for something else later down the line. Also, never fear, I'm not making a gameplay remake of PW, so it won;t be that awful; nor am i cloning 744, or 745. This is for an entirely new thing, set in that world. One or two people will know what it's about; otherwise it's a 'secret to everybody'. It's a very special, heartfelt quest, that I mean to be a whopper of a surprise.

P.S. ROMview, I'm sorry for questioning if you should exist; I just wish that you worked...

Here you go, all in the DoR palette format.

Between this and the DoR Hybrid set you should have all the tiles you could want.

I'll look it over net week, but I'm pretty sure t was never finished. The last I knew, it was missing the snow/winter world tiles, almost all the custom enemy tiles, and the custom dungeon tiles.

Would anyone be up to merging, organising, and finishing this? You will love the jaw-dropping end-result quest, and will have first call on the scripts/engine stuff, if you want them, I promise.

I would appreciate that mightily. You, or anyone who can make a graphics pack, palettes, and organise it. My own attempts are less than ideal.

I would ask that you leave a dozen empty tile pages after the enemies, for custom enemies, and bosses, please.

Why don't you work on it on your own if you're just gonna sit and wait? Making a tileset isn't too much work, as long as you have all of the resources you need. I would know, as I'm developing one. AND I helped do that Parallel Worlds set.

I believe he's making a joke about Zoria being able to script well.
