Okay, sooo, it has been quite a while since I've given a proper update now, hasn't it?
Well, I had a long hiatus during the last bit of the school term due to exams, then suddenly having alot of co-op hours, which took an exceedingly large chunk of my time away.
But, good news, I am back working on my project and am brainstorming new ideas for a new quest!
But before the new quest begins the production stage I will be completing this quest.
I currently have about 1/2 of the current dungeon layout complete in ways of pathway design. I might change one or two things, but all in all it's looking good. It's going to be a large single floor dungeon, with a partial network of caves, as well as two items being needed to complete the dungeon. It'll also be complicated, unfortunately, as I'll have alot of puzzles and hidden things that you need to work out... but fear not! I will have a few hint rooms throughout (though those hints will be like the first dungeon one, so they will make sense once you think about them or when you see the solution), as well as have one or two Hidden Pay-For-Info rooms that will straight out tell you either solutions to something, where something is, or some sort of aspect or mechanic of the dungeon area. Sofar I'm only planning on having one of them, however, I haven't begun the second half of the dungeon, so I am keeping my options open for a second one.
I am also starting to make some custom enemies for this dungeon that either has to be engaged in a certain way to make it vulnerable, or needs a specific item to defeat it. I will have to do alot of balancing for them for if they are too hard or too easy, but a balancing is needed for the auxillery items I have spread out in this quest anyway (in other words I need to rethink what I have open and around and change where things will be).

Anyways, as I have mentioned before, this will be the last dungeon I'll be doing before releasing the final demo (after I do a major amount of playtesting in order to avoid the massive screw ups from the last demo I put out... that was embarrassing...) I may also revamp some earlier levels, but haven't decided if i'll do so for the last demo or for the final release. We shall see.
