~Story~
Long after settlers found Hyrule, there arose the Gerudo, and then years later, the tyrannical ruler Ganondorf appeared,
and he used his power to create a blade of bloodshed and evil; the Nightfall blade, and he also used his power to augment a shadow;
the shadow of Link,
and with this shadow, Ganondorf ordered the shadow to draw the Master Sword for himself, and so the shadow did,

and with his greed and ignorance, Ganondorf was killed by the dark figure, by using the Master Sword against him, and took the Triforce of power for himself.
The dark figure then proceeded to erect a massive tower, and he also sealed away the Nightfall Blade, with the power of 7 descendants of the 7 wise men,
knowing that the Nightfall blade's power was too risky to be in the wrong hands.

The dark figure then proceeded to slowly take control of Hyrule, and corrupt it.

~Area_Stuff~
So, I plan to have quite a large map, and some large areas, and here is a "Pixelmap" of the area:
JMygv7e.png

You can probably guess what most areas are, some of the ones you might not be able to though:
Purple: "Corrupt" area. Much tougher enemies, water would become poision and would hurt you, trees would be either dead or the areas extremely overgrown, etc.
Light tan: Beach.
More Orange Tan: Desert.
Really Dark Green: Normally really deep forest.
Really Dark Green in the islands on the bottom of the map: Deep Jungle.

~The_Dungeons~

So, I am planning on there being 7 main dungeons, and a few Mini dungeons/ Bonus Dungeons/ shityoucanfindandwllbetotallyworthitalsoplzrecordyourplaythroughthroughthebonus/minidungeonsthanks

I plan on the dungeons themselves to be rather non-linear, but you will probably have to complete the dungeons in a linear order, except maybe for a couple of them.
And now, the dungeons themselves.. maybe!

Forest
Goron Mines/Caves
Water
Desert
Wind
Graveyard
Lower Tower of Dark Link

Sorry, I haven't figured out all the Mini-dungeons yet.

~Items~
The items will be listed in a progression line, from first to last.

SWORDS:
Heavy Iron Sword - This blade is extremely heavy, requiring both hands and wears you out some just by swinging it!

Low Quality Steel Blade - This blade isn't very good, but you can swing it much quicker than the old Heavy Iron blade.

High Quality Steel Blade - You get this from a blacksmith, who charges a decent amount, but this blade does more damage, though swings a bit slower than the Low Quality Steel Blade.

Coralite Blade - This blade is completely optional, and is a bit better than the High Quality Steel blade, and you can get it much sooner than the Hyrule Knight blade, but it costs a LOT.

Hyrule Knight's Blade - This blade is, too, completely optional, but is quite powerful, and swings faster than all the previous blades and has a long range, for a sword.

The Zequesta - This Blade is quite hard to get, and s completely optional, however it swings the fastest of any blade, does as much damage as the Hyrule Knight's blade, and allows you to do a charge dash attack, rather than a spin attack.

The Nightfall Blade - This is the final sword that you can get, and it IS mandatory to get, and it and it does much more damage than all the previous blades, swings at a normal sword speed, and also can do the Nightfall Strike; The most awesome thing you will see in ZC besides 3D effects.

SHILEDS:
One thing I should note about shields is that only 1 will be mandatory; the Mirror Shield, and also that to use shields, you have to use the assigned button for the (probably one of the EX# buttons).

Small Wooden Shield - This shield is rather weak, and has a durability, and can burn up if you touch fire while holding it. Though it is better than nothing, and is rather cheap to buy.
Re-Enforced Wooden Shield - This shield has a much higher durability than the previous shield.
Coralite Shield - This shield can block almost anything, and has an even higher durability than the Re-Enforced Wooden Shield, though as with the Coralite Shield it costs a LOT.
Hylian Shield - This shield has infinite durability, and can block almost anything, though it must be obtained through a sidequest, as with the Hylian Knight's Sword.
Mirror Shield - I am not going to describe this. You should know what this will do.

ARMORS:
You can equip different Armor's/Tunics, but only 1 at once!

Green Tunic - You know what this does. Nothing, of course!

Blue Mail - This defends you a bit more than the Green Tunic, and allows you to stay underwater for much longer than other Armors/Tunics, however taking damage with this on uses up a bit of magic.

Red Mail - This tunic also defends you a bit more than the Green Tunic, and you can stay in extremely hot areas for longer than the Green or Blue Tunics, and defends against fire based attacks more than other armors, however.

Iron Chestplate - This Armor defends you much more than the Red or Blue or Green Tunics, however your time in hot areas is even less than with the normal green tunic, and you sink in water, weather or not you have Iron Boots on, and yet still, your movement is slowed down a bit with this on.

Honeyflake Armor - This Armor will protect you less than the Iron Armor but more than the Red, Blue and Green Tunics, and won't slow you down, and bees wont attack you when you have it on.

B-RANGS:
Something I plan to change about Boomerangs in my quest; they will actually fly out and around, as with some of the 3D zelda games.

Wooden Boomerang - Your standard Boomerang, it does a bit of damage however.

Magical Boomerang - This does more damage, and flies out in a helix pattern before returning.

Iron Chakram - This flies out straight, and does much more damage than the other Boomerangs, but it takes awhile to return.

Specter Chakri - This flies out rather quickly, using up a bit of magic, and homes in on the nearest enemy.

WANDS:

Ice Amulet - This fires out a "breath" of small ice crystals that will lightly damage enemies.
Ice Wand - This will shoot out a piercing bolt of ice, using up a chunk of magic and hurting enemies decently, and also will shatter into a bunch of crystals on Impact with something solid.

Candle - You know what this does.
Fire Wand - This will shoot out a flame, which will damage enemies, and may reflect off of Mirrors.

St. Heny Tie's Seed - This will make vines bust up through the ground in a circle around Link, which will entangle most enemies.
Nature Wand - This will make thorn-spikes bust up through the ground, which will damage enemies that walk over them, in addition charging it up will make a more powerful version of the Heny Tie's attack, which WILL damage enemies.

Eye of the Beamos - This is an eye of a Beamos! It shoots out a piercing laser that is quite powerful.
Beamos Wand - This shoots out 3 lasers at a time, one infront of Link and the other two out from a random, general direction Link is facing. Charging this up makes a larger lazer come out that bounces off of Solid things.

BOWS/ARROWS:
The Wooden Bow is the only mandatory Bow.

Wooden Bow - Your standard bow. Shoots arrows rather slowly compared to the other Bows.

Iron Bow - This shoots much faster than the Wooden Bow.

Nayru Shotbow - Shoots out 3 - 6 arrows at the cost of 2, and uses up a bit of Magic.

Goddess Bow - The last bow you can get, it fires much faster than the Iron Bow, and shoots out 1 - 3 arrows at a time.

CURRENCY:
Oh yes, there will be multiple currency's, and they all have different values! The currency's will be listed in order from strongest to weakest.

Coralite - The Zora's Currency, rather rare outside of the Zora's territories, though do to their currency "strength", you won't get them very often (being more rare than rupees, in the drop tables where they would drop). They have a Currency value of 4.

Rupees - Your standard currency, common in all the regions. Has a currency value of 3. Also the Gerudo's main Currency.

Obsidian Shards - These are too, rare outside of Goron tribes, they are however quite common in various Mines. These have a currency value of 2.

Deku Nuts - These are the "weakest" currency, and are quite easy to find, however they can also be used similarly to the Deku Nuts in OoT; throw them at the ground to stun enemies in an area around the Deku Nut, on-screen. These have a currency value of 1, the lowest of all the Currencies.

BOOTS:

Leather Boots - Your original boots. No special effects.

Pegasus Boots - These allow you to sprint, probably by holding down a button. Having these equipped however makes your walking "slippery".

Iron Boots - These allow you to walk underwater, best used with the Blue Tunic. Your walking speed is slowed down with these on, too.

LADDERS:

1-Way Ladder - You can buy this in Hyrule's Castle Town, and allows you to pass over 1 block gaps, only 1 way however.

2-Way Ladder - You would probably find this as a "mini-item" in a Dungeon, and it allows you to pass 1 block gaps, but you could move 2 ways on it.

Spoiler

I would list more items, but I can't think of them. Of course there will be also things like Bombs, and probably the Raft, etc,
but I can't think of many more items to list, so you are gonna have to deal with this.

~Gimmicks~

Charging Items - Many items can be charged up, such as the bows, which when fired would make a slightly faster, etc.

Subscreen Features - The Subscreen will be scripted, and will have features such as saving, having a dedicated panel showing the map, having a dedicated screen panel for collectables, etc.

"Advanced" combat - Many enemies will have better AI than just wandering around, such as the Knights from LttP which you can slash their sword to make them bounce back.

"Sidekicks" - You can eventually hire a Knight to follow you around on the overworld, who can shoot enemies with arrows to kill them, and split the loot with you.

Customized Potions, and Multiple Potions - You can collect various items (such as different types of mushrooms, and liquids) and give them to a potion maker, who can give you a customized potion,
doing various different effects, such as health regeneration rather than just normal healing. You will also be able to carry multiple potions/bottles at a time (Probably 4).

Stamina - Some things will use up a bit of stamina, Notably roll-dashing and using the Heavy Iron Sword.

Roll-Dashing - Similar to rolling in OoT, in this quest you can do a dash-roll that uses up some stamina, and makes you roll, going faster than normal walking speed.

Multiple Languages - Ah yes, there will be a few languages, which will be much different than English (different word order, different sounds used, different alphabets, etc), which COULD be learned if you really wanted to, and if not, luckily, you will be able to buy equable/un-equable scrolls so you can read the other languages in an English translation. Of course, since I am me, I may or may not hide some easter eggs in the original text in the other languages, which won't be translated into English, so be on the look out if you know anyone who knows the language you are reading from an NPC or sign or whatever!

There will be some other gimmicks, and I don't feel like going through my brain to find them and then flap my hands on a piece of plastic until something readable comes out on my magic computer monitor box.

~Dev Kit~

And here is a devlopment kit, for anyone that might want to make maps or something for the quest, such as dungeon drafts. Or to screw around with a modified DoR Hybrid.
Either way, here it is: https://www.dropbox....kit_V1.qst?dl=0

Once you make a map, click File->Export->Map (Map, NOT DMap) and that will export the current Map that you are on in the editor to whatever you name it.
Preferably, you use maps 8-14 and use the first maps for reference to palettes and stuff (that or I was too lazy to remove those maps, we may never know), and also hopefully you don't make many new combos,
as more than a couple would be annoying and cumbersome to add in to the main quest.

Once you have a map though, you can post a download link to it in the comments, or PM it to me.

~Screenshots~
And here are some Screenshots!

gFBWVpQ.png

Sorry that the water looks kinda.. terrible

gjcfBY1.png

"Could this mean a puzzle involving magic this early in the quest!?" Maybe!

KB9fNpk.png
I wonder what that could lead to!

50Qes6Q.png
A kinda generic but nice looking screen.
Also sorry that there aren't more screenshots; There just aren't that many other nice looking ones.
So, post in the comments what you think! Feel free to ask any questions!
(Except when the quest will be done. Who the hell knows honestly)

(And yet still, hopefully the images aren't too large)

I just noticed your small text, I don't think it's possible here unless I'm missing something. In most text editors the table of contents creates bookmarks and hyperlinks to the same page, I didn't find anything here. I know OpenOffice, Google Docs, and Word have them.

Usually you'd have to make headers, and headers 1 - 3 are used as bookmarks in the table of contents.

Hm.. oh well, the index might be a bit useful still, as you would know when whatever you were going to is.
Thanks for letting me know!

Yeah, if your thing is less than 10 pages, you usually don't need it. Plus you only have one. It'll be useful in the future, I use it all the time when I take notes.

I seem to have issues getting that to work. do you know if section1 can be named anything, or does it need to be named what I want to link to, or.. And is linkname supposed to be named "linkname" or does it need to be what I am linking to.. or what?
