I have been playing with a temperature idea, where you change the dungeon between hot and cold.
Do you guys want rafts in the dungeon? What do you think should be the boss? How many floors will it have? Your input is welcome.

It's a good idea for puzzle solving.
For a water based dungeon I think one big floor should be enough if you aren't using the generic water elevation gimmick. I don't know about hylians, but I knew how to swim when I was 5. In my honest opinion, I think rafts are useless unless the currents are so strong they'll rip you apart, i.e. an ocean.

Maybe you could have leaves in the water that you ride on like rafts? Like the "raft" would only be able to be used to go in one direction maybe. Unless you hit an angle, which you would bounce off the side and keep going. ![]()

Both good ideas...
The thing is, the dungeon is supposed to be a tower. So I was thinking of around 2-3 floors. But, I also do not want the overused water raising lowering gimmick. The idea I had going in the GBA demo of sapphire tower (that's the dungeon name,BTW) was that there was a big mountain-type tower in the middle of the dungeon that had the water flowing from the top of it, like a water volcano, with the rest of the temple built around it. Should I use that idea for the design?

Would you be open to changing the water level to go up and down the floors?
i.e, in order to get to floor two, you need to flood the lower level too float yourself up.
