This is rather bizarre. There seems to be a discrepancy in the damage scripted BOMBBLAST and SBOMBBLAST do to enemies, and the damage they do to Link.
Example: I have a spell called FireBomb that makes a super bomb blast with damage set to 12. To enemies, this deals 12 HP. That's 6 times the damage of the wooden sword. To Link, it deals 12 hearts. TWELVE. HEARTS. That's half my maximum health in one friendly-fire hit.
I recall this bug being present long before, but back then I just worked around it. In Carnage in Space I turned off lweapons hurting the player. In Solaris, I had turned down the damage of this spell until it was near-useless.
So... how can I make a scripted bomb blast that will hurt me and do more than annoy enemies, but not KILL ME OUTRIGHT if I wander into it?
