I'm not simply re-using the Quest 744 soundtrack! Are you nuts?

Well, I might use it as a foundation or do an alternative arrangement of the original soundtrack. I recently created/obtained some N64 Zelda/Star Fox/Mario wavetable sounds and have had a blast using them. The whole of Quest 745's soundtrack will use those sounds and it should add a strong Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask kind of atmosphere.

Here's some of the work I've gotten done so far:

Light World - Four Swords Adventures Lake Hylia theme

Village - Kakariko Village theme from multiple Zelda games

Cliffside Palace - Link to the Past's intro theme orchestrated

Beach Cave - Link to the Past Light World dungeon arrangement.

Those are some really neat sounding songs you got here. After listening to a bit more of them, my favourite out of the bunch is probably the Desert Caverns.

Either way, great job with the songs, looking forward to more stuff coming from this quest.

Here is another one.

Gerudo Desert - Re-remix of Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time. This is a reorchestration of the Quest 744 remix. I may ditch this one as I'm not a huge fan of it, and do a better remix from scratch.

What do you use to upload these Mp3 ?

(Am kinda looking for something very simple people can download from.)

Am not sure if PZC has a support for this format right? or do you guys?

Lowlight Temple - Arrangement of Oracle of Ages' Jabu Jabu Belly theme. Ended up sounding like a rip from Star Fox 64.

Sounds more like an ice temple.

Creepy - twisted creepy ambience. I'll find somewhere appropriate to use this.

Are you using soundfonts/samples or using the wavetables with some kind of vst synth?

Just a soundfont imported into a sampler.

Northern Hyrule - used on a separate overworld map. Spirit Tracks overworld theme arranged.

Lost Woods - sounds like OoT at first, but changes later

House - a medical drama starring Hugh Laurie

Caverns - used for generic caves throughout the quest

Ambience - just nature sounds for the Master Sword's grove

bonus:

Star Wolf's theme - Not actually in the quest, but a fun example of what the soundfont is capable of. Nearly indistinguishable from the real thing.

Mountain - Theme of a snowy mountain as well as the dungeon on and inside of it.
