Here is what I made a long time ago when I started this project. I made Level 1, named: Faron Temple, this temple is very linear but has a bit of backtracking.

Here is the image:

Looks like a really cool map. The only thing I would suggest is to add some more colours rather than just green since the whole dungeon is just too green.

Looks great! There's just one thing I would change there. It needs more variety in colours. Everything's just the same green. You should take a look at the gameboy zelda games and see how they have different colours in their dungeons. The floor, walls and objects could all be different colours.

Other than that, I really like the layout and design of the dungeon. It looks rather maze-y, and it's got just the right size for a Level 1. You could also put more arrow traps in the dungeon :D

Yea, since the dungeon has mysterious music i tried to go for a monochrome look. Thanks for the advice!

You know you're in a labyrinth when there's back tracking. Well the map looks good but it kinda looks like one of those boring gameboy palletes, you know the ones with only one color

Monochrome is alright, and so are the gameboy palettes. But when the rest of the quest has colour, it would feel inconsistent. So I agree Faron Temple needs more colour, more depth.
