ok not much is done on this quest but the overworld is mostly done so i at least wanted to show that and a few reviews say that its broken its not but its just underdone.

What i was looking for was ideas for more stuff to add. I like the way my quests are mazy and i hate open roam badly directed quests thats why i make mazy ones.

Why not some scripted features?

because scripting it hard ive got scripts i wrote in my other quests that are 100 lines and they still dont work well. :) :)

im planning on the first level to have chaos water and you have to carry holy water to it to purify it.

i cant remember the other ones yet.

You know, I can possibly help. I am trying to get more experience creating quests, and I can both script AND give good feedback.

Are there any custom-items you would like in the quest? As scripted items are my strong point.

All my quests need the same type of help eg the stuff all people knock in the reviews. They are just overviews and not playtested much because its really hard to continually play over and over the same thing to do that so they have errors.

What im trying to do is make youtube playthroughs to show they work if you go the correct way at least then fix the bugs as i find them.

in the first level i was going to do chaos water and you need to get holy water pots to drop on them to clense the chaos. In the second fire dungeon there is fire fog and you need a fire potion to go though that. I was also going to do in incredible hulk rampage type chaos event where you turn into a monster 2x2 squares big and can smash up boulders. But those are only ideas and making the tiles and scripts to a high level would be hard so id probably just mess around with basic versions to start with i dont really care my quests arnt perfectly executed but the ideas and overview is well done if they were pro made games and not just someone messing around theyed be good quests.

Okay, so I'm not going to talk about scripts because that's not what the video was depicting, but rather, I'm going to talk about the overworld itself as that was what the video was showcasing.

In general, the overworld looks decent and I like the maze that you have going. The biggest problem with the overworld for me is that you have to cut WAY too many bushes with your sword to get through. At least for me, it would be incredibly tedious to have to cut all those bushes throughout exploring the overworlds. It also makes the screens look far more cluttered than they actually are. I suggest that you tone down the number of bushes by a large extent so that people can better traverse the overworld and not be agonized because they have to cut so many bushes.

Another point I want to make out is that the houses in which you get some of the items are way too plain. You need to add details in those houses to make them seem more alive and also make the quest in general show a bit more effort.

Those are my suggestions; do with them what you wish. Good luck with the quest! :)

i can probably remove some bushes. I mostly need to start doing dungeons and playtesting through my quests each to level and Level and make youtube stuff so people dont have to play through and can just watch and doing this ill fix mistakes along the way.

After having played the first demo, where it was just an overworld with no enemies or music and more like an alpha than a demo, I'm still saying no based on the video. While the no enemies problem was fixed, the rest of the demo is just in as much of a terrible shape as the previous demo.

By far the biggest complaint that all of your quests receive is the tedious layout of the overworld. Nobody wants to be stuck in 1-tile wide corridors for extended periods of times, something which this quest (and your other quests) does on a regular basis. Add many cuttable bushes placed directly in your way as well as spikes that clip you for 2 Hearts of damage each time you touch them on many screens and you have a (no, multiple) quest where virtually every screen is a chore to play through. At this point, I would suggest redoing the overworld to at least give the player good amount of breather space.
