New Quest 2 2015
Even harder difficulty mode?

It really pained me to add an Easy Mode to the game, as honestly I think you should play the older quests to get better and improve first, the field test showed me otherwise and it's in now.
This is bringing an issue to head. Where you have some people who can't hack it, there are some players (Gleeok, James24, Chris Miller, Darkwing Duck, _4matsy, and others) who are consistently breaking quests and quite frankly, James Quest difficulty may not be enough now with all the practice they have had, sad to say. It's awfully hard to develop for people in these cases where you have a divergent group of players.
Now, even though it is considerably shorter, New Quest 2 on World Champion Difficulty is close to the 5th Quests and James Quest in difficulty. I have a long standing policy that if I can't beat it, I won't release it (New Quest Lv. 11 aside, but I've been dangerously close to finishing that too). However, in light of this recent wave of competition, it is something I have to consider. Being 35 and getting older isn't going to help, and I may not be able to beat it without cheats if I make it.
There are a few other reasons I'm against it too:
1. I feel as if World Champion Difficulty on New Quest 2 is not exactly boring in the first place and doesn't require a revamp IMO. It brings a new enemy every level, and doesn't exactly repeat itself. While still difficult, artificially increasing the difficulty could create monster issues.
2. The Revenge tileset doesn't exactly lend itself nicely as far as I know to Level 3 and 4 enemies like the classic tilesets do. I'd have to review the palettes, but it seems to have a cap at 3 levels.
3. Some things possible in the classic tileset (like BS Aquamentus and other things) don't exactly play well in the Revenge tileset due to coloring issues.
That's not to say some things could easily be toned up using the enemy editor and other things (Blue Darknuts and Goriyas don't drop so many damn hearts for example, and the Fire Boomerang dungeon could be buffed considering how broken that damn item is), but I'm leaning against it. If I have people who are willing to play a Kaizo Zelda mode and actually have some desire to LP it the entire way through and play it, I'll do it. But for right now, my answer is generally no.
Feel free to sound off on this.

The world champion mode, or whatever its called is decently challenging but it is eaiser than the name suggests.
I've noticed a bug already, when you leave level two the map outside it is completely changed. This was with 2.5.1. There's no way out except for whistle warp or f6 continue
Edit: Here's a picture

I'll fix that. Can you video or screen it so I can locate it faster?

Squashed it. I'll fix it later. I'm sure there's more coming.

I might have finally done it...... Level 7 the difficulty creep and running out of Rupees is really starting to get to me now.
Progress might be slow, or I'll have to start to cheat to test.

Huge difficulty jump from level 5 to 6, is there no white sword or blue mail in this quest?
At least there was a shop that sold a crystal near level 6

White Sword is early. Use Whistle in the graveyard close to the beginning of the Overworld..
Blue Mail: Level 3. Take the first passage, go right, go up. If killing the enemies doesn't work, blow the Whistle.

Is it just me or do the enemies get stronger on the over world? (near level four it was originally a bunch of level 1 goriyas, now its level 2 goriyas and level 1 darknuts)
Another thing, it seems if you do levels out of order, everything in that level gets reset item-wise, you still have the map, compass, and all doors that were unlocked are unlocked. But the dungeon items, keys, etc., reappear. It also seems like the over-world map gets reset in some places when the enemies get stronger, and some secrets get "resealed" when this happens. Like near level 3, if you went to the money cave before the over-world changed, you could get it again after it "changes" enemy-wise at least. Like in level 4 I went all the way to the boss, I skipped around, level 5, level 6, then I finally found level three and beat, didn't beat the other two yet but "completed" them (no triforce piece). When I went back to level 4, a goriya was selling a boomerang for 255, but I already got it for free when I went there the first time.
Is a changing world a gimmick of this quest?
I'd also suggest not having hookshotable trees where there's no land, you can be permanently stuck, near level 4 is an example.

I just checked my work, and yes, because of the maps for the different difficulties, there were bugs on that unfortunately. I will be posting a Release Candidate 3. Unfortunately for this, there will be a restart required, so don't go further until Release Candidate 3 goes up.
I apologize.
