Progress Report (December 8th as of 2014)

Note: These progress reports shall be random and will at be given at least once a month if progress is going well.

So, I think this little project of mine deserves some kind of an update right? Well, to this day, I've been feeling great about my project, I haven't gotten this far since my first attempt back when the quest was Hylian Tale. And truth is, I feel pretty proud of myself to have gotten this far in such a project after so many years. Well, let's cut the sappy part, you all want progress reports right? RIGHT!?

Okay, I have been fine tuning my quest according to the critique I received since the Fall Expo 2014. Since then, I have finally finished Level 1, wait, that's a lie. I still have some rooms I would like to go and change, the sideview ones mostly. I also finished the main part of Twila Forest! However, its southern and western parts are yet to be designed, but who cares!? (Oh yeah, I do

) After each of the first three dungeons you beat, you will see a cutscene related to what happened back then when Lydia was recently founded, having the potential to unlock the true identity of ???...

So yeah, Twila Forest is about... 75% done, Level 1 is technically finished and playable, the Novus Village vision is also done nicely. What I'm actually working on right now is on the Northern section of Lydia, which are Drifa Mts, Drifa Village, the Mountain Base and Mons Keep. Level 2 is very early in progress, because I want to focus on the rest of these things right now, I like to have an ordered and chronological schedule based on how I want things to happen. Anyway, I have also started to work on Edlen Highlands, you can find a preview on this week's current SotW!

Scripts have been nicely implement in as well, but there are a few I've found in the database, but I haven't actually found a good place to use them, (or good reason to use them as well

). One that's truly amazing is MM's LttP Dungeon Map for any dungeon in Hylian Legacy, so that's a nice treat from this big guy!

Basically, much progress has been made since Winter Vacations are open for me, so I do expect to make lots and lots of progress on this baby, and if things go well, I might have another demo by early next year, which would go from Start to around the Tower of the Gods dungeon! (Level 4). But that's just an inaccurate date, I still have to work on my other side projects and back to school happens February 3rd... Let's see what happens shall we?
