not madatcha or anything, just disappointed this didn't come yet.  thanks for sticking with the reviews, generally, though.  can't say this was was worth the read, but they usually are.

your review should be here by 2018. 2017 if you're lucky.

I’m honestly not sure how or why a single walk-through-wall puzzle is cryptic, as this is a second sequel to the original Legend of Zelda, which had lots of those, but I can live with that.

To this, I'd say that the demo I played from what I remember didn't feel particularly like the first two Zeldas, it felt more modern than that. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a modern styled game to adhere to some more modern standards of design. That doesn't mean I think you should have a giant arrow pointing to every bombable or walk-through wall, but if you could find a compromise between the cryptic secrets of Zelda 1&2 and the glaringly obvious ones of A Link to the Past, that'd be ideal. Don't handhold the player, but don't leave them completely in the dark either.

I think in aLttP, it changed to an obstacle than a secret. I think the best bombable wall secrets are present in the Gameboy and DS Zeldas. There were slight visual cues or odd design choices that sent off vibes.

Hey Dimentio, glad to see you're interested in my reviews! Unfortunately, I do not have the time right now to form actual reviews. I really don't like my old ones, I think they suck personally. :P

However, in due time, maybe I will resume making reviews. We will see. :)

We left them out for too long, the reviews have gone lukewarm.
