I have finally decided to release a new playable demo of Ganon's Curse! While the first demo was really just a conceptual one, where you could mess around and see how the curse worked, Demo 2 features the first dungeon in this quest, Level 1, the Beginner's Temple.

This will be fun.

The entrance room of the dungeon. You can fall down in pits, so be carefull.

Each dungeon has it's own gimmicks.

Silver rupees, just like Ocarina of Time.

You should probably also use this opportunity to practice your playstyle with the curse. Trying to keep moving all the time is really not an easy task, therefore you can buy the purple potions from the potion shop too, wich negate the effect of the curse for a while!

So, what are you waiting for? Go download the demo and see for yourself! Feel the pain of Ganon's Curse and try to beat the Beginner's Temple.
You can use this thead as a help topic for the demo.

Guys, play this! It's so fun having to move around all the time! ;)

Also, did you mean to write:

You should probably also use this opportunity to practicise (practice) your playstyle with the curse.

I agree! It's why I gave this a 5 star rating, if you haven't played this, play it.

Awesome!!! :D I just tried it and beat it, too.

I was able to get the big wallet and the big bomb bag. Plus, I found the fifth heart container and the wealth medal, as well. (I'm not sure how you pulled off the 8-step maze trick; making no secret sound after the first four?)

I got the purple potion early (the first thing I actually bought), not knowing when I'd use it. I found my opportunity: the room with skulls, traps, and a pushblock. Using the purple potion there really gave me my money's worth!

I enjoyed the interesting music you chose, as well as the cool SFX you used. I'm not sure what game the "Link Hurt" SFX was from; probably something like Wind Waker that I haven't played yet, I'm guessing.

The dungeon was really challenging for a beginner dungeon! :D But not too challenging. If you'd thrown any harder enemies in as the player progresses, it probably would've been too hard. The hardest (besides the miniboss and boss) were the eyes (I forget what they're called) that shoot magic. (Yeah, I got hit by their magic once. Ouch! 2 whole hearts!) Thankfully, you allowed them to be hit by the arrow at any time. I was afraid I'd have to wait until their iris turned black before I could damage them! :XD: (Although, that would be an appropriate challenge for a later level...)

Just one issue I had (not sure about anyone else) is that sometimes in the level, I would experience lag (where the music runs as normal, but everything on the screen moves about half-speed or less, including Link and the enemies). Sometimes it would last for a while. Sometimes, going back and forth from one screen to another (staying in the doorway) helped it to stop, but not always. I'm not sure if this is just because my computer might be a little slower than everyone else? Or is this just part of the curse that's not explained??

Anyway, definitely well done! :D I think any other problems/issues I had were minor, 'cause I can't remember them.

Thanks for your comments, Lightwulf! The link hurt and death sounds are from Soulcalibur II. That game featured link as playable character. :)
The slowdown was definetly not intended and it did never happened to me, but hopefully the next update of ZC will fix that. who knows..
