Here's the screen that has the bug in it.
When you get the ladder in Level 1, you have to get passed this river. You can trespass it, but has a little bug with it:
It's kind of hard to see here but when you go up from that screen passed the river with the ladder the ladder gets "pushed" and is now on land.
When you go the other way:
What? Where's the ladder? Ya, it doesn't appear and it looks like you are walking on water.
Fortunately, there is a simple fix to this:
Yep, just bring the river down one combo, and the bug is gone.
I'll upload a new demo with this bug fixed soon.

I used that on my starting island as well.
Some bugs aren't so easy to fix.
