Where can I find Super Bombs?

There aren't any super bombs in the game, but in fact a bomb upgrade ... I was confused by this when I first got it.  I forget exactly where I did find it, but I believe it was in Level 3 or 4.

Yes, the Power Bombs do double the damage of a regular bomb (perhaps more, I can't remember exactly) but work the same as a regular bomb, use the same counter, and trigger the same flags.  The warning is that the stronger bombs will be needed to defeat the boss of Level 3, who requires four of the stronger bombs to vanquish.

 

As such, the power bombs are located in Level 3.  You can find them by consistently going west after taking the stairwell to get back from the treasure room with the ladder (there is a wall that must be bombed to reach them).

Is the Whistle In Level 4?

Yes, the whistle is in Level 4.  It'll be the last tool you will acquire in the dungeon.  Hint, you'll need to do something to a grave to reach it.

For your first question, you need to push a block onto another block, much like you had to in Level 3.  The magic-nulling blocks cannot be moved, so you must push one of the light blocks.

That'll only lead you back to start, though.  You need to use your magic boomerang in the second room to create a bridge across the lava.

As for the other problem, that is a bug which I SWEAR was corrected, it must have held out in one of the versions of the file.  I forgot to use the walkable mountain combo there.  Rats.

I'll upload a fix as soon as I can.  It's a secret money room, by the way.

i have found both items in level 2 but not the candle in level 1
