For some reason, when you open the active subscreen in my quest the passive subscreen disappears, as soon as the active subscreen starts rollin down and comes back when the subscreen is closed again. Why does it do that and how can I fix it?

In the subscreen editor for the Passive subscreen, select each item (yes, it's tedious) and check all these boxes: "Visible Up", "Visible Down", and "Visible Scrolling".
If they're already all checked, then I have no idea how to help you.

Those are all checked. On both the active and passive subscreen. Also I just added new default subscreens for testing. "Original (Top, Triforce)" and "Original (Bottom, Magic)" and those are working. It's just my custom subscreens that do this, so there must be something wrong with them ![]()

I noticed this also.
I think because you need to make it transparent where the subscreen would normally be, or else it covers it. It may be solid black.

Ok I got it to work right now. I don't know if is what you meant, LTTP, but I just had to delete the "Erase Subscreen" object in the active subscreen. I placed that object behind everything else, to make my subscreen solid black way before. I don't know why this is, but I have done this in all my quests before and that object never made my passive subscreen disappear before. Well, thanks guys!

Maybe this is a bug with the "Erase Subscreen"?

This can happen when somebody has a background image or rectangle (or whatever) in their active subcreen that is actually larger than what is originally intended (especially the height), and than the height of the object goes past the border, and covers the passive subscreen.
So if the above advice doesn't help (for who this may apply to), try adjusting the height of whatever it is that you have set as the background of your active subcreen. This is why in another related topic I asked for the height and the width of the active and passive subscreens.
