In your first post you say that you feature 2 over-world maps. But I haven't been able to pull up an over-world map, Thus the question.

 

Oh!  Map is meant in the DMap sense (actual gameplay areas) not in the "picture of the world" sense.  So, what I mean is that there are two 8x16 screen areas that comprise the Overworld.

Honestly, I'm not really sure how to go about setting up the Overworld Map.  I think the problem is that I started the quest back in 1.92 or something and finished in 2.5, so my quest doesn't contain a lot of the graphics data the Overworld Map option uses.  Or maybe I'm just being an idiot.  If someone would step-by-step me through the process, I can see how it turns out.

In the DMap options, you just tick "view overworld map by pressing 'map'", that's all it takes.

Hey, sorry about all that.

 

The problem seems to be that I was testing on an old save.  When I booted up a new game, that's all it took.  In testing though, I discovered that there's a bugged undercombo on one screen late game, so I fixed that too.  Should be save compatible, but I'm not sure about the map thing.  I posted the update, but await approval.

In Death Mountain in the very top left corner, what is in that room? I've been to all the rest and have gone on to the Underworld but haven't saved it and was wondering if it is something I need to have in the Underworld. I'm still dressed in blue.

I'll be out of common reach for the next 11 days, but I'll check in when I can. Sounds like maybe you did miss a thing or two. You should have everything you can get in the original game by the point of no return. Anything you might miss that's CRUCIAL can be picked up later though. (if you saved and are stuck due to combat difficulty, send me a message)

Thanks! So what did I miss in that top left room? Red Ring??? maybe 4th sword??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I have the magic sword, blue ring. I'm in the Vire Dungeon now haven't saved it yet though. Maybe I will.

Thanks for doing the over-world map! I am in the graveyard dungeon now. Found the "item" but am having trouble finding the ways to go.

How do you get to the boss key door? To get to the door you have to get on the block behind me and you can't on either side of the room, the ladder doesn't go there. Can't get to the two blocks by the bottom wall to push them. Went to the room below this one to bomb that bottom wall or walk through it to get to those two blocks but no such luck, didn't work. Do I need the 4-way ladder?

I've tried walking all over in that room. Well, what is the pathway the ladder will go across? Or does it have to do with that very bottom left room in this dungeon? Or a room with one of those entrances in it in one of the dungeons?

I believe he means the Underworld Dungeons because that is where I'm at. Join us, we will try and help you when we can.
