Hi, I'm playing Link's Birthday. I have the bugfixed version of it.

I'm stuck in the Black cellar dungeon where you can get the Candle and the Silver Bracelet.

I had the crystal at the entrance. I got a key that opened a door that led to the guy that said I could use the crystal to open white doors but that's pretty much it. I red the dedicated topic in the archives but there was no answer for where I'm stuck.

I have no clue. The room on the left where the crystal is puzzles me : there is cross bridge where you can fall with blocks of two different colors, but I didn't figure it out neither. Bombed pretty much any walls I could... and so on.

Year later edit: It appears the image hosted at that URL isn't a map anymore. Tinypic too stronk.

i think there are two entrances to level 3 i cant remmember.

edit there arnt two entrances i just played the dx version.

i think you just get the glove and candle and can move on.

also you can get the boomerang in the start house in the dx version i think i used that in level 3.

I know it's quite an old quest *cough*

I have this from the other forum :

ok, i'll try to explain it for you. i have just bearly passed that room.
first turn up the brightness on your comp. you can barely make out the room.
on each side of the room (left/right) there is a block that you need to push toward the center of the room.
they have to cover the darker squares near the center of the room. then exit the north door.

Does it make sense to you?

yeah in the dx version its the same. Block the two exit squares with the blocks and a secret plays and a new door opens.

You should play the dx version its the newest i think.

What's great with the dx it's that it has a walkthrought, visualy I like the first one better.

Anyway, I'll try this, thank you very much, topic solved (I will look at the youtube because it's the same)

I have played both the original and the DX and for whatever reason I somewhat prefer the original.

I just started this quest and finished level 3.  I forgot to get the boomerang.  Am I stuck and have to start over?
