I voted for Sephiroth. I really like the flow of the mountains in this screen.

For the record, all of the screens are immensely great!

I voted for Pabru. I just love the entire feel of this screenshot. The Ruins lure me in, and the palette choice, along with the tileset are wonderful. Very good layout of the screen also! Very difficult choice, but that's what it's supposed to be, since it's SotY and all.

Anyway, I would have voted for Pabru, but like I said before, I've seen a screenshot like that from Ebola Zaire 2 years ago in SotY. Sorry

My vote sent to Sephiroth. This is a prime example of how DoR should be properly used. Mountain layout it outstanding and detaling is just right. Not too much and not too little.

Thought i had posted this already but, I like the flow in Sephiroth and Ebolas screen, but I dislike the palette in Seph's, voted for Ebola.
The other screens are very good but I liked Ebolas more

I voted for Pabru. IMO, his shot is the nicest batch of consistent tiles put together in an interesting screen. I brought out my toughest inner critic to make this choice

Sephiroth's shot shows very nice use of the DoR mountains, however, the Subscreen 'texture' kind of ruins it for me.

Ebola also has a very nice winter shot. The frozen waterfall is nice, but it looks as though there should be some sort of transition tiles on the right end near the mountain face.

Dawnlight has a solid dungeons shot. No complaints, and easily one of the best dungeon shots I've seen.

This is a surprisingly boring field of entries for Screenshot of the Year.

I ended up voting for Sephiroth's since it has the most solid layout and nice colors, but nothing's really happening on it. Unfortunately, nothing's really happening in the other screenshots, either, so I had to default to the one that looked the least messy. All the other screenshots have random junk strewn around a little haphazardly, even the one that I voted for when it competed in SotW.

Incidentally, my second choice would be Ebola Zaire, so it'd be fine if he won.

I really liked the first three screens, but for some reason, the fourth one just seems to be missing something, anyways I voted for Sephiroth

One suggestion for Sephiroth, make the light pink a white instead, It will make the brightest shade on the water the correct color (right now its almost darker than the other shades) and the flowers will look better and stand out more.
